RecommendedI came today (1115am) just to get a few things that were.required for my daughters volleyball coming up. First time sports mom, I had no idea what I was trying to find. I first ran into Liz, who was incredibly helpful. She was polite and didn't make me feel clueless showed me exactly where to find what I needed. Tonight I was harassed by the racist Officer C. Gross & was accused of stealing right after he viewed me making a purchase. He asked me for identification, to search me & detained me, I refused & asked him if he ask every customer to perform the things he asked of me & he stated NO!!! Place reeks of white privilege, had a man bump into my wife as we were looking at sunglasses when he had a mile of room to go around her. Tried to walk away like nothing happened until she called after him and told him "excuse you". Another woman was practically running inside and did the same thing. Nothing but rude and entitled people. Also saw 7-8 of them walking in without a mask like they owned the place within a 5 minute period. Used to love academy, now I'm sure I won't be going back.

Probably one of the worst experiences here with customer service. Coming from a small business owner you’d think a huge corporate store like this would have their act together but unfortunately they have failed us! Get it together guys!
