Poor attitudes. Just had a terrible experience at the Academy Sports in Athens. Over the years I have certain bought in the mid 4 figures($) worth of merchandise from Academy. While the checkout process has never been their strong suit, today was inexcusable. As I approach the registers the customer service register is lit up - the only other one with an associate and customer at it was not. academy sports in Athens...👎🏻 don’t EVER order something online and go in store to pick up!!! Attitudes...the worst!!! Items you ordered...”they saw my order, (when we went to get it and leave), they no longer knew where my order was.” Then when you call a manager you sit on the phone for 15 minutes. Someone picks up and then hangs up. Again...when you ask about your order...the attitudes are RAGING!!!! Customer service was absolutely terrible. Worst experience of my life.

I sure do wish all of your employees would wear masks. The plexiglass partition up is not correctly placed so does not properly block anything.

Went in looking for items I saw online the employees where very rude wouldn’t take the time to help me said what they have is on the shelf wouldn’t show me where or even check or even check to see after waiting in line at customer service finally a little girl looked it up said they have 2 in stock but she couldn’t tell me where all she could say is if it’s not a lot in a visible place you should probably assume we don’t have them I would look somewhere else for them will never be back again
We shop there often, though we live an hour away... Let me say the restrooms are sparkling clean
