We have been frequent customers of Academy for the past month being new baseball coaches we have spent A LOT of money there. Tonight we went in for Fitbits, a glove, and two guns that we had looked at online. The guy who helped us with the Fitbits although he was very nice had ZERO knowledge on the capabilities of each kind, brand, etc. We picked out two anyways that we hope will work for us. I have to say the Academy manager Wade Farris was extremely helpful! He was very kind and went out of his way to make sure to help me with what I needed.
Purchased pair of Moab Ventilator for $99.99. The next day found same shoe at Dick's for $89.99. I went back to Academy to ask for a price match and was told no they would not. I did not have a paper ad to prove price however I did have picture of price and shoe and was still told we only match paper ad prices.
