Your store sucks! I called 5 times! You’re literally the only sporting goods store in the state that can’t answer the phone and answer a simple question. The one female that answered the phone transferred me to the dept I was inquiring about and nobody answered. I tried 3 different depts and then some... this is why consumers shop online, because customer care sucks.

I haven't shopped at Academy for a very long time. Visited the store in Hoover, AL on Hwy 150 and the extra mile customer service of Cya has made a lasting impression on me and won a customer for Academy in Hoover. I made an expensive purchase for my wife but didn't have a coupon. Without hesitation Cya went into action to provide me a coupon reducing my overall cost. Thank you Cya for being an outstanding representation and ambassador for Academy through proactive customer care!!
Fair prices and a large selection of camping/fishing supplies.
False price matching advertising. Claim to not only price match but to beat the price by 5%. However if you find a cheaper price they resort to, “unfortunately we cannot price match sale prices blah blah,” that’s fine I will go purchase the item from your competitor. Way to go Academy, no wonder your Lee Branch location closed.
