Dr. Katz is amazing. He has performed surgery on my hand twice (once to install hardware, second to remove the hardware) both times went flawlessly. His assistant is wonderful. I never have to wait to be called back, and he comes in almost immediately after his assistant leaves the room. He’s very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone having hand issues.

I broke my right hip in a minor Mountain bike accident. Dr. Katz saw me in the emergency room at Northside hospital in Cumming the same evening. He performed surgery the next afternoon. The surgery consisted of an IM titanium implant. I walked the next day with a walker and was discharged within 24 hours of my surgery. 3 months later I rode 3 Gap north of Dahlonega on my rode bike. Dr. Katz helped me tremendously in the process of getting healed from a fractured hand. He is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable and competent. He will spend the time needed with his patients to ensure they will get the best treatment and he makes himself available to answer any questions we may have. His staff is awesome, very caring and attentive to details. Our family highly recommend him and his practice!
It was my go to Dr. for Ortho related issues. Dr. Kalson was the only one to get it done right, sadly, Academy has went to the dogs since Dr. Kalson retired.
I highly recommend Dr Duckett- he and his team are highly skilled, attentive and answered all of my questions and concerns. I’d never had surgery before,much less a total hip replacement followed by surgery to fix my fractured femur -Needless to say I was very nervous and anxious. He had incredible bedside manner and kept my husband well informed throughout the surgeries. My recovery is going well and when I do have questions, he and his team respond quickly. Again, highly recommend Dr Duckett!
Over the years, I have been to many orthopedic doctors. I have degenerative disk disease and recently have had a problem with arthritis in my hand. This was my first visit with Dr. Katz. His youthful enthusiasm, caring, and knowledge of my situation was most appreciated. He answered all my questions and spent a lot of time with me.
