The rooms are extremely small and the staff at the front desk are awful not friendly or helpful. The housekeepers actually should be working the front desk since they are so friendly and extremely sweet. Good location
Downtown San Diego is such a fun area! Locals told us that the hotel we chose was in the middle of EVERYTHING and they were right! We walked to Petco Park for a Banana Ball game. We walked to incredible restaurants (we loved Noodle & Bun, but the burger place and the pizza place across the street from AC Hotel San Diego Downtown were also fantastic!). We spent a LOT of time at the rooftop pool, which is small, only 3 ft deep, but the perfect temperature to cool off, and go back to the rooftop bar and have a nice drink. It wa... read more
this hotel is located in the party district, so it may not be the quietest stay. the rooms are not the biggest, but there’s a whole city around. they provide earplugs to dampen the sound if you aren’t here to party. in every interaction with staff i was impressed by how helpful and polite they were. they were attentive and knowledgeable so everything went so smoothly. there were various small amenities in the room (including a much needed nail file!) and they let us check out 30 minutes late so we got to enjoy the rooftop po... read more
We had a very nice stay at the AC Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and the overall atmosphere is stylish and relaxing. The staff was friendly and everything during our stay went smoothly. Because of the central location in the Gaslamp area, it can get a little loud at night. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here at AC Hotel San Diego. We celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary. We received excellent and friendly customer service throughout our 3 day stay at this hotel. Thank you to all the staff at AC Hotel San Diego for making it a memorable moment.
