Update - Still a great place! I see the menu now states it is guacamole awesome add! I had the shredded beef in my Chile relleno, it was amazing! Highly recommend This was a cute place. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The chips & 3 types of salsa were fantastic. The lunch menu was great. I had never tried an avocado enchilada, I thought it would be avocado but instead it was a processed guacamole. Still it was OK. The Chile relleno was the best! So flavorful & perfectly cooked.
Great tex mex. Love the trio of salsa you get before your meal. Flavors of the enchilada sauce were also good. And the tamales were good too.
I was at a convention in Wichita and noticed there were 2 Abuelos. I loved the one that used to be in Zona Rosa so I made sure I went. I was very pleased. Great food, good atmosphere. Excellent service I got the dip sampler and the Reynosa salad. My two favorite things always on the menu
Chips and salsa are very good. Made my carb free diet go out the window. Queso is great. My grilled chicken salad was outstanding.
