Great food, service is fast and friendly. The mashed potatoes are an amazing side dish. This is one of the biggest reasons we go to Abuelos. The inside is very nice, but the building is starting to show it's age. Overall, great place to eat.
All the food we ordered is good except Fritas which are little oily. Atmosphere has really good vibe . Service is also good but can be better .
Great atmosphere inside. It’s a nice restaurant. Our server was really good too. Very attentive. Went there during thier happy hour on a Thursday night @ 5:30pm and glad we did. My friend and I sat at a high top booth table in the bar area that we really liked. It was a great vantage point to people watch and take in the nice atmosphere. Took awhile to get a drink, we had a lot of time to decide what we wanted another waitor I believe bar tender. Took our whole order. The waitress delivered our food and was very polite. I found the food quite expensive for ordering from lunch menu and having unsweet tea. Even for lunch.
Had the best meal and the best server in the Midwest!! Absolutely would return. I wish the hostess/greeter would’ve had a better attitude.
