It's worth the wait! People this food is fresh, made to order. Not a fast food place by any means unless you order one of their delicious empanadas wich are out pretty quick. I suggest if you find yourself in a hurry call and place your order... they also deliver!
I got bad coleslaw, it was very past due. The big $20 seafood platter was not impressive, the shrimp are super tiny like salad shrimp. Ordered an empanada which we didn't get. I was charged a tip on my carry out lunch, who does that?! Not recommended.
Great food ! Very good food, great service.. Had a tripleta empanadilla recently ... And the specials I have ordered so far have been delicious... Just like grandma's cooking from Puerto Rico.. :)
My husband and I went to Abuela's Seafood today and I must say the experience left us dissapointed! We placed an order for a shrimp platter, fried scallops and shrimp platter, fish tacos, and a beef and pizza cheese empanada. I'll start with the good. The empanada was delicious and my daughter loved it. The fish tacos were good as well and the lemonade was perfect! This restaurant is a diamond in the rough...So good...My fiancee' & I ate like royalty for a low price. Best fresh seafood:)
