Very unhappy with this company. After installing a waterproofing system in my basement in 2017, the system failed a few weeks ago and flooded my basement. I had no power outage, just much rain one evening. The pump still seemed to work too. Rick came out to check things out and I was told I would get a new sump pump within a week. After calling and texting to see when this would happen, I am now told that the pump is no longer under warranty and am getting the brush off. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
We had Absolute waterproofing to fix my basement and now they are accusing us by putting sand in the system when we didn't. Plus the concert work is all messed up and I'm not happy about it. Also they said if they didn't find anything wrong they was going to charge me at least $200 to come back out to take a look.
I have had three unrelated water issues in different parts of my basement. Rick came out quickly each time, analyzed the problem, and recommended a reasonably-priced course of action. His crews came in, did a great job, and voila ... no more water!

Talked to Rick yesterday (10/11/18) about lack of follow-up regarding my 86-year-old mother's flawed backyard drainage system that was installed in July 2017. He claimed he had no records of ever being contacted about this. My sister could recount almost word-for-word a phone conversation they had had within the past 3 months (she then continued to call the Saginaw office to try to schedule an appointment - to no avail). I am writing this on behalf of my 86-year-old mother. She is happy so far with the drainage system installed in the basement (in July 2017). However, the backyard sump pump drainage system (also installed July 2017) heaved up partially out of the ground after the first heavy use, and despite repeated calls and assurances that someone would come out "when we are in the area", nobody has shown up to look at the problem or even called back. I hired this company to seal my basement up with a signed contract. Two ears after there work my basement is worse off than before they started in fact it is worse. I have tired to get this company to stand behind there contract and for what ever reason they refuse to show up. After receiving a phone call (proof is in my records) from the owner from his personal phone called me and set up a date to come and look at my basement in June 2018, as expected he never showed. I own a home in Flint, and the foundation was cracking and bowing. I called Absolute Waterproofing Solutions in the beginning of July to have their inspector to come out and give us an estimate. We thought we were going to have to replace the entire foundation, but Rick ensured us that it was not that bad. They were able to use Carbon Fiber Straps to stop movement in the foundation. I own a home in Battle Creek that had a crawlspace that was very damp, smelled of mildew and not energy efficient. I had Absolute Waterproofing Solutions come out in May of 2018 to encapsulate and waterproof the crawlspace. Before having Absolute come out, I had contacted two other companies to come out and take a look, but Absolute had the best prices and quality.
