Dr Derhake was extremely thorough in asking questions about my progress and explaining the next steps in recovery. He takes his time to discuss everything and to see if I have any questions or concerns.

While I rated Dr anywhere from fair to very good, he is extremely good at what he does. He is highly knowledgeable and explains things extremely well, which I greatly appreciate! This is my second time seeing him and I completely trust him with my care. I would recommend him to anyone because he is that good at what he does. In my experience, exams can be rougher than other Dr's. Given someone is already in pain I feel like a tad bit more tenderness during exams could go a long way. It did not take long for the Dr to find the problem as he explained it all and explained my ongoing care with him every month until my eye is better
