I cannot say enough good things about Above Toronto Hair Salon. I have fine, thinning hair, which can be challenging, but the owner truly has an incredible talent. This salon is backtracking on its review, and it’s honestly laughable. Clients don’t leave “tentative” reviews unless they’ve actually received a service—and that service fell well below expectations. Save your money and go to another salon. Unless you enjoy waiting far beyond your allotted time and being treated with unprofessionalism—then by all means, go here.

Had an appointment booked and arrived on time with my mother. From the moment we checked in, we were repeatedly told “a few more minutes,” with no accuracy, urgency, or accountability. While we waited, staff were openly laughing and joking, showing little concern for customers who had been sitting far longer than acceptable.
