I went to Dr. Pollards office to figure out some reproductive issues. Everyone in the office was nice and friendly. However when I met Dr Pollard she told me I had all the classic symptoms of Endometriosis. She said there is no point in me getting tested for the surgical procedure to test that I have that condition. Essentially I do not have that diagnosis on paper. Dr. Pollard is absolutely amazing. A few years ago, I relocated to Fresno and tried to establish care with a local OBGYN who got good reviews. He performed the most painful pap I've ever had in my life. I was traumatized and I was in pain for days afterward. When I decided to establish care outside of Fresno, I found Dr. Pollard and decided to give her a try - it was the best decision I've ever made. It feels so good to visit a doctor as a woman and feel listened to and not rushed over. I think they do an incredible job here of treating the whole patient with quality care.
When I started coming for my prenatal visits I was told I would have dual care with a high risk doctor. Which I knew due to past medical history. I only had a couple visits. Never got to meet Dr Pollard. Was very disappointed today when I got a call saying Doctor Pollard decided not to have me as a patient and had already transferred my care. The person on the phone apologized I wasn't already notified on my last visit 3 weeks ago. I really enjoyed the staff and was looking forward to seeing both clinics as I'm not a big fan... read more
