I cannot thank Doctor Herman and her assistant Kayla enough for what they did for me today. I was in severe pain from a tooth that needed to be extracted, and after calling around everywhere and being told nobody could see me for nearly 2 weeks, they somehow found a way to fit me in the very same day. Tooth pain is no joke and Dr. Hoover and her team know this. They were so gentle and kind. I had to have a tooth extracted because silly me, I haven’t been wearing my night guard and cracked a tooth. They made sure I was comfortable and completely numb. I really enjoyed the fact that during the procedure I knew everything that was going on. Selena was so gentle and caring every step of the way as well. I will continue to see Dr. Hoover and her About Smiles team for all of my dental needs!!
My husband and I have been going to this office for 7 years and they are amazing. We both have dental challenges and the doctors, along with their whole staff, have been very careful and caring. If you fear going to the dentist due to past poor experiences, this is the place for you. We go to the Austin office off of Westgate and love all the staff and dentists there. Our adult daughter goes there and we just recently recommended a dear friend who has dental issues. Both are very glad they made the move to About Smiles!
I have severe dental anxiety and was very nervous to go to my appointment after avoiding the dentist for years. Everyone at About Smiles was so patient, gentle and understanding. Dana in reception was so kind when I arrived in tears, Ashley the hygienist was incredibly patient with me and explained everything step by step, and Dr. Shah was wonderful and made me feel so much calmer. I would definitely recommend About Smiles to anyone!
