Brought son in to urgent care on Saturday 3-16-24 for possible ACL tear. We drove 4 hours to get him and bring him in. No wait- not busy- saw the NP- she was rude, fast and didn’t do the proper exam on him. He’s had an ACL tear before and he told her that. He was sitting up - not laying down-and she barely moved his knee. He said it was unstable and she didn’t listen to him. Said he was resisting- which he wasn’t. The injury was not explained clearly at first. The MRI report indicated more than one issue which she didn’t discuss because she hadn’t read the report. A np should at least pretend to care for the patient, particularly elderly patient. Extremely disappointed.
