Competent doctor and surgeon but poor understanding of how much things cost. I received an elective surgery that could have been done in the office but instead was done in a surgery suite. The doctor told me that things would be covered by my insurance. After insurance, the entire procedure still cost me thousands. I called IU Health, and they told me their providers do not understand how much things cost. I agree with this statement. My recommendation is that you request estimates for EVERYTHING. Took my husband to see Dr. Yekinni, He was told he had some polyps in his nasal cavity and throat. Took him in this Monday for Dr. Yuki to examine him after the surgery he had last Friday. He stuck a probe up my husband‘s nose never gave him no pain medicine at all scrape his nose left a long, black thread up his sinus cavity. My husband had to go up there and get it out himself which caused his nose to bleed profusely. this man doesn’t care, I wouldn’t even give him a one star on here. Why make appointments if not willing to listen to patient & going to say go to another doctor !

Most of the staff is extremely nice, informative and helpful. Depending on the day, you may get an unpleasant tone. Let's be clear, I am not sure if the 1st surgery failed because of the implant or not, but ....I am Still waiting on a callback for a "re-do" surgery date.
