Just moved here and found Dr. Abernathy in my network. I called in Friday and was seen the following week for a new patient appointment. The office staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Doctor was so nice and made me feel like I had made the right choice for my new PCP! It is such a relief to find that when relocating to a new state. 5 stars to staff and doctor.
My partner had 4 visits with Dr. Abernathy. He requested a referral to both a dermatologist for awful scaling on his hands and a GI specialist for terrible gut issues, possible IBS. He has also had barriatric surgery. Dr. Abernathy refused to give him both referrals while he was in his office, telling him to try a cream for his hands and meds for his stomach. I love that Dr. Abernathy still uses paper files instead of always on the computer. I like him and his staff always helpful and kind.
