Dr Abdo is truly a kind and compassionate doctor. He is thorough so sometimes there’s a bit of a wait between appointments but I’m sure from my experience it is due to the attentive care. After some surgery complications in the abdomen, I’m finally on the road to recovery with doctor Abdo’s care !

I work with Dr. Abdo on a regular basis and absolutely love him! He takes great care of his patients and I would recommend my own family to him for treatment.

DANGER! DO NOT GO HERE! I don’t even want to leave one star honestly. One routine Colonoscopy from this man nearly ended my husbands life. Ended up with internal bleeding, blood transfusions, ICU stay and regular hospital stay to recover. Unable to work for months and so much more. My children had to see their father on deaths door! After almost 2 hours, walked out without ever seeing the doctor, just his MA. You think I want him to do my surgery now? I understand, emergencies happen but at least give us an explanation and option to reschedule. I wasn't the only one complaining.

I wouldn’t allow any other surgeon to work on myself or my family. Dr Abdo is as compassionate as can be. Sometimes he runs behind a bit but it’s because he spends enough time with his patients! His staff is equally as kind. I’ve read all of his reviews on here and can’t believe how ignorant some of these people are. Dr Abdo is a surgeon and sometimes needs to do emergency surgeries. If a patient is stable, Dr Abdo can have his PA see the patients while he is with more serious cases. Thank you!

Went to hospital due to severe pain. After a couple tests and an over night stay, Dr. Abdo woke me at 4am telling me I did not have appendicitis and I could go home. After asking why the pain, he told me to see a GYN. ?? After insisting for more tests, he took my gall bladder out saying "good thing, it shredded!" To top off, his office couldn't bill insurance correctly. After 1 1/2yr they just billed another $500 saying it's a deductible that I already paid over 1yr ago. Worst experience EVER!

I scheduled a consult for hernia surgery with Dr. Adbo. The morning of the appointment I spoke with the office & was told they should be on time. However, after waiting over an hour & half, the PA came in & apologized for the delay. At this point I was very upset that they didn't have the courtesy to let me know earlier or that I wouldn't be meeting with the Dr. I left never to never to turn. Can not trust a Dr. who cannot even manage appointments or communicate with patients. UNACCEPTABLE!

Dr. Abdo is a kind soul. I would trust him with my family. He has many years of exceptional service and cares deeply for his patients. Tonight he help ease my suffering on a holiday weekend. I am beyond grateful to work with him at Banner Baywood surgery department. Tonight he saved a life. Then went the extra mile to help me. If your looking for a top notch surgeon consider him he provides services in Mesa and globe.
