This place stinks.
I don't normally do reviews, but ABC123 Pediatric dentistry really upset me and basically wasted my time. Back in July, my 15 year old daughter needed a sealant, the treatment plan had an $85 charge for sealant on one tooth; however, I knew my insurance covered it. They said it didn't. I called my insurance, spoke to a rep, and he said sealants are covered until their 16th birthday. He offered to call the office with me on the line, but the front desk person said the insurance coordinator wasn't there. They said they would s... read more
This dentist office told me my child had cavities, did not provide informed consent for anesthesia or the procedure options even though I called the office twice asking to speak with the doctor about this, then unsuccessfully filled in these “cavities”. They charged me $360 for not filling cavities and sedation that didn’t work, and when I went to another dentist, they said there was no need to treat these extremely small cavities even if they doubled in size. Very disappointed with this practice's inflexibility during a family emergency. I had to cancel my daughter's Monday morning appointment because my husband was hospitalized over the weekend. Despite the emergency circumstances, they're still charging me a cancellation fee because I couldn't give 48 hours' notice. A little compassion would go a long way. We won't be returning. One star isn’t enough! I was told inaccurate, incorrect information on my son and his teeth! At 3 years old, there is NO WAY that he would have 4 different cavities, when we brush his teeth regularly and do not give him candy except on special occasions. This so called Doctor was rude, unfriendly,unknowledgeable MONEY Hungry!!!!His new dentist was kind, spoke and greeted him and gave us ALOT of information regarding him NOT having ANY CAVITIES at all!
