Highly recommended I have been taking my pets to ABC vet for several years and have always found the service satisfactory and the prices reasonable. The techs are pleasant and helpful, and I trust the doctor implicitly with my animals to help with anything from minor scratches to serious surgeries. I appreciate the fact that they clearly explain all procedures, their prices, and why they are necessary before following through (so there's never any confusion or surprises)! I haven't had a negative experience yet!
You get what you pay for The positive about this vet is that he has cheap prices. However, the negative aspect is that the service & vet is horrible. I must admit, that I fell for the ??Independent Best of Santa Barbara Winner? in his ad in the yellow pages. Well, I think the only way he could win that is if he voted for himself a bunch of times. Not too observant Our dog dug itself out of our yard, but was tied up, and a passerby thought that she was in danger of choking herself so they took her in to ABC Veterinary and asked that they (ABC Veterinary) contact us, as our dog still had her collar and tags with contact info on. We did our due diligence (we LOVE our dog!) put signs up in our neighborhood, called the SB Humane Society, Animal Control, spoke with all of our neighbors, etc., etc., but after a couple of days finally thought to call local vets within a 2 mi... read more
