ABC No Longer Exists ABC Veterinary no longer exists. There is a new animal hospital at this location. Animal Medical Center of Santa Barbara opened in the old ABC building April of 2012. The previous Veterinarians are no longer associated with this business in any capacity. Google it! This doctor assumed that my mother did not know English and then spoke to her really slowly and loud (like she was a retard). He then called me to explain what was wrong with my dog, and would not let me talk. When I let him finish-he would not listen and told me to google what was wrong with my dog. Really? Total was $500.00 bill for a minor problem and he insulted us the whole time-asking if we had enough money to care for our dog.... this was the worst experience ever!

Very pleased I was very pleased with the service that was administered to my dog "kadoe"! I recommend this hospital to everyone. I feel that the people working there were very helpful and sweet. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain everything in depth. It is a small business so it can get pretty busy but, the receptionists and vet techs do the best they can to assist all customers accordingly.
Terrible I don't understand the good reviews at all. This hospital seems to keep people waiting forever and the receptionist and the vet act as if they were doing you a favor instead of giving you the service you are paying for. Above that it seems like they want to always shove in things your pet doesn't need. Not very cordial and the examination the doctor does is a joke. The place also smells very bad. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.
Good experience My name is Jacki I took my cat to the emergency pet hospital in Santa Barbara because he had a really bad ear infection and I paid about $400 to get it "fixed." Everything seemed okay when i got him back later that day, but the next morning he seemed really irritated and was scratching the same ear. So I searched around by going to different vet clinics in my area, but they just did not seem to suit what I was looking for and I got a very negative atmosphere. Awesome ABC Hello my name is Tanya, I take all four of my cats to ABC Vet Hospital. Recently one of my baby's came home with a huge laceration through his abdomine layer. Dr. Strogoff and his wonderful staff got him vaccinated for a very reasonable price and stitched up so that my baby could enjoy the outside air again. I highly recomend Dr. Stogoff and staff to anyone and everyone who wants a personable vet that takes pride in good service for our community pets.
