The customer service & follow-up that ABC provides is totally unacceptable for a service that costs several hundred dollars/year. I've called no less than five times and gotten an "answering service" that isn't capable of processing my claim because it's a "core policy". I don't understand the point of using an answering service that isn't able to provide any assistance. We had water coming from the second floor to the main floor. I called on a Friday morning and explained the urgency. While I was happy to learn that this issue was covered, the customer service that followed was awful. They had said someone would get back to us within 24 hours, but when I explained the situation, they said it would be expedited. They NEVER answer the phone. I have left a message 3 days in a row with their answering service, and they have never called me back. When I filed my claim on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, they said a contractor would call me w/in 24 hrs to schedule a time to look at my hot water tank that is not working. It is Friday and neither the contractor nor ABC Home Services has called me back. Why am I paying for a service that I am not receiving? I will be using a different home warranty provider in the future. Buyer Beware!!!
