Hiring John was the best decision I made to completely overhaul a very challenging paint job in our Waikiki condo. Every wall had been damaged with screws and nails from a past tenant. Ryan was great! Not only did he come and rescue me last minute twice in need he did a thorough and excellent job. He did my plumbing, installed an air conditioner and more and he was clean, trustworthy, and all round good guy. The work was professional, and he was hard working. I would recommend him to everyone! A completely positive experience with a contractor, which I have found to be very rare in Honolulu. John was very punctual in returning my inquiry, getting back to me the same night for my initial response and again after I provided photos for an estimate. We contacted Johns Waikiki Handy Man Service about our dryer vent. We needed a new one installed and he was one of few who would do it for us. He was very prompt, had a great attitude and all the right tools. He was also very flexible with our schedule. He came the day after we called and inspected the area. I can't help but say good things about John at ABC Handyman. He has helped me several times to fix things around my home. The latest being a difficult toilet situation. He was very patient and diligent in his approach to fix it and it worked out great. He is very good at many things and has a great attitude as well..I highly recommend ABC Handyman..
We hired John to install four deadbolts at our new rental house. He replied back very promptly to our request for his quote -- the very next to be exact -- and cane to install deadbolts few days later to accomidate our schedule. John worked quickly and diligently and installed all four deadbolts even though two doors were quite difficult to install dradbolts due to slight warping and center-sliding window frame. Overall great job and we won't hesistate to contact John when we need to do other small projects/ repairs!
I called on John to help put up a drywall partition to separate two bedrooms. It was not a simple project because it required the wall to be slightly "L" shaped and was to be built on a wood laminate floor. John devised a plan and I decided to go ahead with it. I've been looking for a handyman since late February till now and finally found someone I can trust. I'm really fortunate that I found John. I wanted to take out my shower doors and replace them with shower curtains and John said he could do it today. Wasn't expecting that, what a surprise.
