This office recently transitioned to be a pediatrician only. My wife and I found out via email, we each got a "second notice" but never any first notice. Els is amazing, will miss going to her for care. As for this office, I won't be taking my child here, the whole place is kind of beat up and run down. Front office isn't great, there's no online scheduling or message portal, etc. When I asked the front desk why, they said that the practice was still owned by Dr. Sirsy Sr. who doesn't believe in upgrading anything. I really thought I had found my doctor through this practice. Dr. Sirsy and the NP both listened and spent a good amount of time trying to understand my symptoms. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is because they gave no notice at all before converting to a pediatric practice. They did this on November 1 but notified us on November 8. This caused so much upheaval in scheduling refills for prescriptions as now, they won’t authorize mail order or any refills past what is already on file. Very disappointing.
We moved back to Nevada a year ago and chose to use this practice for our whole family. Initially everything was great. The front office staff is friendly and helpful, the NP for the office, Els, is absolutely phenomenal and has always been great with me and my kids. I have only actually seen the doctor once in the last year so I don't have too much of an opinion about him. Dr. Karim Sirsy is a very knowledgeable and understanding doctor. In my very first appointment he described all my symptoms (even the emotions/feelings) that came with them as I was thinking them and was planning on telling him. 5 star. Highly recommend. *Economical office visit price of $80 without insurance and it’s worth every penny
Dr. Karim is excellent, very practical and has never steered me wrong. Warm, friendly, takes the time to listen and discuss concerns. Also takes the time to discuss lab results, even has called me at end of the day to address results. Great physician! Not many like him, especially in this town.
