Dr. Ghermay seemed unconcerned with my back problem. All he wanted was to fit me with a neurostimulator test device. During the procedure he damaged my sciatic nerve. When I came to in recovery Dr. Ghermay had already taken the rest of the day off and could not be reached. With in two days I was in excruciating pain. I went back to his office. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ghermay’s for almost 6 years and have had several procedures and surgeries while under his care. Over ONE year ago he suggested Botox injections for my chronic headaches. It took 9 months for him to finally send in the correct coding for the insurance company to approve it. In April I scheduled my appt; he only does these injections on Wed/Fridays, and I work M-Th, so it was scheduled for a Friday in June. 2 days before, Kay called to say he’d be out of town and needed to reschedule. Dr Ghermay is the best of the best ! Highly recommend.
It has been a little over 6 weeks since I had my appointment to see Dr Ghermay to get cervical nerve ablations after Dr Johnson referred me to him.I’ve called, left messages for his assistant to call, physically took my records of proof of having this procedure in the past to his office, and not one single word from him. He charged my insurance company $585 for a 10 minute visit where he didn’t do a thing except ask for my previous nerve ablation report.
