All The stuff at Dr Ghermay‘s office is extremely nice and curious especially K. She goes out of her way actually everyone there. I highly recommend Dr Ghermay‘s office.
I'm shocked at all the good reviews of this doctor. He was always in a rush, he was irritated that steroid injections weren't helping my pain. He told me to just take ibuprofen when I asked for a muscle relaxer or celebrex or just something for emergencies when I couldn't stand up. He told me I was in a pain management situation for the rest of my life (I'm a personal trainer in my forties). Half of the appointment was spent walking to the desk for me to check out. Dr. Ghermay seemed unconcerned with my back problem. All he wanted was to fit me with a neurostimulator test device. During the procedure he damaged my sciatic nerve. When I came to in recovery Dr. Ghermay had already taken the rest of the day off and could not be reached. With in two days I was in excruciating pain. I went back to his office. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ghermay’s for almost 6 years and have had several procedures and surgeries while under his care. Over ONE year ago he suggested Botox injections for my chronic headaches. It took 9 months for him to finally send in the correct coding for the insurance company to approve it. In April I scheduled my appt; he only does these injections on Wed/Fridays, and I work M-Th, so it was scheduled for a Friday in June. 2 days before, Kay called to say he’d be out of town and needed to reschedule.
