I’ve come to realize that my skin cancer screening with Aaron Peterson was not thorough by any means. I googled “my dermatologist says he doesn't need to worry about anything that isn't black is that true” Answer- No, that is absolutely false I’m disappointed to know that my trying to do the right thing by screening is clearly not of great concern to the doc.
Took my husband in for a mole check and dr Peterson didn’t even look at them. Said if they weren’t black he didn’t care about them. Wouldn’t recommend If you’re concerned about moles. Pointless and waste of money.
Dr. Peterson is fantastic! He genuinely listened, took the time to carefully look at all my wierd bumps and marks (no rushing, no brushing anything off), and managed to do it all with a great sense of humor that instantly put me at ease. He handled everything quickly, efficiently, and did an excellent job—clearly knows his stuff. I have always enjoyed Dr Peterson’s approach. I get in and out quickly and my skin needs have been taken care of.
Absolutely terrible experience. Aaron spent less than 5 minutes meeting with me to discuss my concern’s about my son’s extremely itchy and uncomfortable eczema. He prescribed a tub of steroid cream without striving to understand the root of the problem. Felt completely brushed off. What a disappointment to what medical care was ever intended to be.
