My husband had cryosurgery performed by Dr.Katz. When we realized not all the cancer cells were destroyed Dr. Katz became cold and distant.
Since my husband was experiencing recurrent bladder infections with no resolution, I went with my him to see Dr. Katz. During the office visit, I was appalled when I noticed the doctor clung to the door in what appeared to be an attempt to get out quickly. Moreover, the doctor never even examined my husband physically. All he did was order a very expensive urodynamic test, which could not resolve my husband’s issue.
Dr Katz seems to always be in a hurry and preoccupied. There is very little time for dialogue with him. He is completely different from the person you here on his radio show. The practice has become a revolving door with very little time spent with patients. I was very dissatisfied with the level of care I received from him. I have since moved on to another doctor.
I had cryo surgery with Dr. Katz 10 years ago and have been living cancer free with no side effects. I highly recommend you speak with the Doctor and if this surgery is appropriate you can proceed with confidence and optimism of the outcome.
I have been a patient of Dr. Katz for about 2 years. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer a little over 2 years ago. Dr. Katz recommended that I take part in a study about anxiety with people with prostate cancer. This study helped me a lot with my anxiety and stress and how to cope with it. I would like to thank Dr. Katz for recommending me.
Dr. Katz has been my urologist half a decade. He has steered diagnosis and procedures managing my prostate and bladder issues . He has an easy going and sometimes humorous manner. He knows his field including the latest developments in treatment and management including pharmaceuticals. His staff is very helpful from the phlebotomist to the receptionist. My scripts are always promptly called in. Lab results are quick and Dr. Katz makes himself available to discuss results over the phone.
Dec.'08 received prostate cancer diagnosis with a statement from urologist "only choice you have is surgery or radiation, and make the choice soon." I conferred with 3 top urologists , the most amazing being Dr. Aaron Katz. He said, "don't let anyone near you with a scalpel or radiation. Follow my holistic protocol and you will not need either". 9 1/2 years later...never had a symptom...feel fantastic...this guy is my guru...a fantastic, talented, personable doc. Thanks Dr. Katz!
Outstanding ! A gentleman and a scholar. Best doctor I’ve ever been to! Sheldon Simon
Dr. Katz is amazing. He is a fantastic doctor and compassionate. His approach to urology is individual and unique. He treats the patient medically and holistically. His approach is realistic and superior to those practicing “cookbook” medicine. I am in healthcare and know many doctors throughout my 30’years in hospital/private practices. I wish more physicians were as knowledgeable and caring as Dr, Katz. He is a rare breed and my husband and I are lucky to have him as a doctor. Thanks ??
