Not the nicest mechanic who has not much patience.
Google reviews led me to AAMCO in Silver Spring and I am grateful that they did. I have been experiencing troubles with my car accelerating uphill and reversing, and was told almost a year ago by my former mechanic that I needed a new transmission (est $4k). Guys don’t ever take your car to this place I will guarantee you you will loose your car and your money. I will share my experience i had transmission problem and want there they told me I need to get new transmission I say Oky and pay $5000 . 2 weeks later they call me my car is ready . Got my car the next day I saw has leak I called and ask they told me to bring back they check it and told me has gasket issue and they say we have to remove the transmission to put new gasket and will cost me $1800 .
