I am so grateful for AAMCO and their amazing staff. My vehicle started revving up but not actually shifting gears so I called these guys. Turns out I needed a new transmission. Thankfully, mine was still under warranty. It was exactly two weeks and I have my car back and they handled everything! I never told them about this problem, but my gas pedal used to stick when I would go to excelerate causing a slight jump but it no longer does that as well. They are a great shop. They have fixed my a/c system and replaced my transmission before. Very kind people and do great work I have no complaints!
I brought my vehicle in because of a harsh jump from 1–2. The shop diagnosed it as a transmission problem and recommended a full rebuild. I agreed and spent over $7,000. Maybe the transmission did need repair, but the issue I originally came in for is still happening exactly the same. Only after the rebuild did they tell me it was actually an RPM surge.
