Great service. Not only do I not know much about engines or transmission, but Jose was nice enough to really really break a town to simple terms to where I understood it. They also check the vehicle for free and give you an estimate, a very detailed breakdown of charges. They are on the costy $$$ side, but you do get honest and fair explanations.
These guys are the best.
I do not recommend AAMCO Repair Shop to anyone under any circumstances. I took my 2015 Ford Escape there after several warning lights—brake, ABS, and others—came on and the car stopped on I-35. AAMCO’s employee, Jose, promised a free diagnosis, but the next day told me it was a transmission issue and demanded $2,000 upfront before repairs. I eventually paid the full $5,200, but when I picked up the car, all the same warning lights were still on.
