Gag-gifts Central Aahs is a gift shop which sells unusual and unique gifts. It reminds me of a large scale version of Hot Topic, but with more product selection for a mainstream market. This is a great place to buy gag gifts and off the wall gifts for friends, bachelorette/bachelor parties, etc.
Aahs is that place to go that white elephant present or for that person who has it all. Aahs has all sorts of novelty gifts that are useless, but fun - like edible underwear or a Magic 8 Ball. It can be a little pricey for gift that is practically useless, but where else are you going to find some plastic dookie? Aahs is a hoot to visit with some friends and chuckle at all their wares.
Lots of unique quirky items and toys. Come here to buy your Halloween costumes, party accessories, or if your just looking for something fun.

Convenient but unimpressive selection – I expected this Sunset Strip gift store to be chock full of varied and unique greeting cards and gifts. Unfortunately, it instead seems to have dropped to the level of common randomness. The card selection is large but focused too much on the cheesy and not the unique or fun. The rest of the store is full of cheap merchandise. Prices are too high for the quality. There are better stores of this type.
Sort of Tacky Novelty Store – I was pretty disappointed when I walked into Aah's shortly after starting a job in the neighborhood. It's really just a big novelty store. Yes, that has it's place, but I thought it would be more of a stationery shop with novelties than a novelty shop with some cards. To be fair, there have a huge selection of licensed merchandise and if you know someone who is collecting something, this is a good place to go. Stole my money and won't accept return – I bought a Playstation 3 from Aahs at a HUGE markup on 11/17. They took it from behind the counter and put it in a bag. I paid and left. When I pulled the console out of the bag I realized they'd conned me and sold me a Japanese version. I was very angry and went to return the unopened box 20 minutes after purchase but they refused to refund my money.
