Went in early am on a weekday for license renewal it was much more pleasant and expeditious. It didn't consume my day and I was free to complete my to do list for that day.
I renewed my driver's license at AAA in Stamford, CT and it was a great experience. Much better than going all the way to Norwalk to the DMV. The AAA staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The atmosphere was actually relaxing. Everyone I encountered during the process, including others taking advantage of the DMV services provided at this AAA location, was happy and relaxed. I was so pleased.
I renewed my license at AAA on July 31 and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. And, the man that took the pictures was a delight - he took three photos as he didn't like the first two - mouth closed to tight, eyes closed and then he made me laugh and I have an amazing photo!
