It was replaced with an upgraded one (without any other suggestions offered) and then charged me $750 for 1/2 hour labor and the thermostat costing $256. I chose AAA because of their warranty 15 year parts and labor.l My unit was 5 years old this December - still $750. evidently my maintenance contract was lapsed without notice this year, so the labor was $399.
