Beware of a treasure hunt – Our car was towed to this facility after randomly shutting down. They were unable to diagnose the problem. Even so, they wanted to replace the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires as well as perform a fuel injection service, all for $1200. Did I get ripped off? Yes, I believe I did – I dropped my car off at RJ Wheels to diagnosis the ABS and check engine lights. I paid them $45 to read the codes. I picked up the cards and RJ told me 2 ignition coils were corroded, front brakes were totalled, my front left wheel hub was bad and the EGR valve was bad. I took this $45 worth of knowledge and repaired the car myself. I still have both ABS and CEL light on. Plus, the brakes were fine, thick pads and rotors were fine. Rip off! Go to the Kildaire Farm location instead – I went in to get my brakes checked since I heard some squeaking. They ended up giving me a quote for $1630! This included front brake pads, rear brake pads and rotors, and $679 to replace the front control arms because they said my front wheel was jumping back when the car started. They warned me repeatedly that I shouldn't be driving the car - the rear brakes were so bad and the control arm was moving so much that something could dislodge while I was driving. Do not take your car here to get fixed! – I will not even give them one star.. Was told needed a 750 dollar fix and they did not even diagnose the problem. If you are going to request something that needs fixed how about cleaning off the engine to know were a potential leak is coming from. I only went in for an oil change. I think they need to inflate their numbers to compete with the other AAA sites. AAA is good but don't go get a repair at one of their repair shops. Don't go to the one on Glenwood – I went in and they made me wait forever then charged me a ridiculous amount of money and I ahd to leave my car over night and keep calling them the next day. They have these two fat red neck men there that do not give a damn about anything. Maybe they're just challanged?
Untrustworthy - they'll tell you about problems not there – I went for a regular oil change, and they wanted me to get a transmission fluid flush and replacement. They said it was leaking--"the first thing they saw when they put the vehicle up to look underneath". Well, I hesitated a lot. I didn't have the money to do that repair anyway. Never go to this place- Money sucker – I went to this place for NC State Inspection, they failed my inspection and gave me a bill of around $ 500.00. Since I read the reviews about this place, I took my car to another place and they inspected the car and suggested that nothing would be needed to replace at this point of time. Please never go to this place ever, I wasted 60 bucks and I would have not gone there...this place is money sucker
Remote customer service from CA company – Customer service for the insurance product is an 800 number - the company that provides the insurance product is owned by the Auto Club of Southern CA, headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA. They really have no affinity for or understanding of what's going on in Missouri. You get an 800 number and the service is not as personal as you can get with other providers. Might want to consider another company.
My favorite dive in Artesia – This is a Punjabi dhaba style dive - there are barely five tables. I have been coming here for years and the trick is to know what to order. All your usual tandoori chicken, tikka masalas and kormas will not work in a place like this. However, they make the best naan, goat curry and kadhi (yogurt/chickpea flour curry) in Los Angeles.
