We were on our way home to Florida and blew a tire on 65 South between Priceville and Hartselle. Our spare hadn’t seen the light of day in years. Cell reception wasn’t the greatest but AAA targeted our location via GPS coordinates and sent help immediately. A wonderful guy from Hartselle saved us (2 seniors and a senior dog). We have been members for longer than I can remember and feel safe and protected when we travel. Who else would we call in the middle of nowhere, in unknown territory? Would prefer not to complain on here but I could not find another forum to do so. I’ve used AAA on and off for 20+ years. I’ve always had good service. I initiated a roadside assistance call in Vestavia at approximately 1:50 CST. The original estimated time of arrival was 2:20, then that changed to 3:45 then 4:05. Its 4:15 and still no one has shown up. Someone did finally call and say they were on the way. By the time they get here it’s going to be close to 3 hours before someone shows up.
