I wear a completely in the canal hearing aid. They have a plastic tab at on the back end, which is used to remove the hearing aid from the ear. Several months ago, the tab on the left hearing aid broke off and I brought it to AA Hearing Aid for repair. They told me they would have to send it back to the manufacturer for repair which would include an overhaul of the hearing aid at a cost of $500. Lacking any better option, I agreed. Great experience!!! I’m 24 so having hearing aids at my age isn’t very common. But the whole team at AA makes me feel really comfortable about the whole process. They really go out of their way to help improve your quality of life. Every person I’ve come in contact with is really friendly and helpful. The doctor is great, he listens to all of my feedback, answers all of my questions and doesn’t make my appointments feel rushed like some other doctors do. Lisa is very patient and careful with her examination and questioning. The hearing aids she recommended to my father work very well. My father resisted seeing a hearing doctor before his visit with Lisa. Now he wears his hearing aids every day, and we don't have to shout for him to hear us. The other doctors and the receptionist at AA Hearing are all very friendly, too. I wrote the above about two years ago after my father got his hearing aid at AA Hearing Aid Center.
