May 2025 I bought a 2014 focus and with in 3 weeks had issues. Car was not starting. Had to bang it to get it to go. Turned out the transmission mount was broke and caused the exhaust to need a fix shortly after. The shop asked how I just got the car and within a month the transmission mount was broken? Said it shouldn’t have passed a safety. $750 to fix Fast forward a few more months and the transmission clutches needed to be replaced $4200 more. Alex had the car safetied at a mechanic of his choice. I had the car looked at by another mechanic and now I’ve started a MTO report and I will take this as far as I need to. The mechanic I hired said there’s no way these repairs weren’t noticed in the original safety. The repairs will be around $2,500. I cannot afford these being a single parent. Alex has chosen to ignore my text message. He will soon regret this.
