We had a new septic system installed at the end of 2021 with A-1 septic. The float switch has quit working already. I called to find out what the cost would be to just replace the float switch and they told me I have to have the tank pumped out and have an inspection done on the whole system just to replace the float switch. The pump works fine. Its the float switch that has gone bad. Its 2 separate things. The float switch is not attached to the pump at all. Beware when dealing with this company. They gave me a price of $395 to pump my small 1000 gal. Septic tank when the guy arrived he said $745 I was choked hold because he knew he got me in my desperate need. He did not even clean the filter he just left it clogged up and took my money and walked away.I will never ever use them again . Total rip off.
