We called A1 Garage for a broken spring and were told it would cost $1600.00+ to fix. Then I was told it would be another $950.00 to replace the hardware they convinced me needed to be replaced and that the existing hardware was shot. In total it cost me $2644.00 to fix a broken spring. I will NEVER, EVER recommend A1 Garage to ANYONE!
Adam Parent came Out last Saturday8-2 For the bottom garage seal This has been an ongoing problem for a few months with a different tech showing and trying to fix the the problem each time putting a band aid fix on the problem. This time Adam put a paper clip on the bottom of the door gasket seems to work for now, My only concern is the handles of the paper clip are sticking a out and not a very professional look
This company is tops!! We had a busted spring on a door that was obsolete and unrepairable. Gage Johnson, our A1 repairman showed up on time, evaluated our issues, and gave us our options. We decided to spend the extra cash to cover lifetime replacement on springs and had a new opener installed with a keypad. Cost for quality is expected, but we are confident in this company's business is reputable, the tech knew his stuff, and stayed to insure we knew the ins and outs of the system. Today 061625 Jimmy Pilant from A1 garage door came out to fix my garage door.He was super professional and nice. He answered all my questions and helped me understand what was needed. When i need my other garage door worked on I will request him again.
They charged me $1300.00 dollars for two .262 x 2"x 51" springs I could have got online for $450.00 and the online springs were bigger wire (.272) these people are price gouging something awfull.
A1 Garage Door is an amazing company! Terrific people who make you feel comfortable talking to them direct and they really do care about making sure your taken care of! BUYER BEWARE**Keep on shopping. Worst service you could ever imagine. Didn't even get the new garage I purchased through them installed. Do not do business with these guys. Wish I had looked on yelp before excepting their services. . Garage fell off tracks onto my truck. Aren Smith was great. He is extremely knowledgeable, went over the entire Process , explaining everything as he did the yearly maintenance on our garage door! I wish I had 10 Technicians as qualified as aren when I was in business! He is a definite asset to your company!
