If only there was an option for 6 starts...this company would deserve it! Abe and his team at A1 are truly the best in the business. I have been involved in commercial property management for 20+ years and have seen it all. These guys are second to none in every category...would HIGHLY recommend.
I live in a condo building and the condo association contractor I felt was ripping me off by saying I needed Freon added every year. I checked for other contractors and Abe was highly recommended. He came out and checked everything and fixed a bad capacitor and got my unit up and running. He checked the Freon level and it was perfect. He could have said I needed Freon and charged me a bundle as the Freon in my unit is very expensive and could have also said I need a new unit. But, he didn’t and I am grateful. Abe provided excellent and responsive service, from the quote to installation day. My HVAC for this job was located in a small condo closet, and Abe found an effective unit that fit the small configurations, and also did great work in a confined space. Most of all, despite inflation in the months intervening between the quote and installation, Abe kept his price and was honest to the end of the process. I would highly recommend Abe for these reasons.
Abe is knowledgeable and dependable. His no nonsense, consultative approach is rare in any service business. No upselling, provides honest opinion and warns of risks of taking low cost approach. Super friendly too
Abe was great. I'd gotten a first diagnosis on my non-responsive furnace from a big company, one that's been around for 70 years, hundreds of five-star ratings, etc. They wanted $1620 to replace a draft inducer in my furnace... but (for a limited time only!) I could knock $520 off if I got on their maintenance plan. That's an hour of work to replace a part that costs just a few hundred dollars (I looked it up). Criminal.
