Had to find my insurance coverage/declarations though which was annoying, so be sure to have that handy if you don't want to buy extra insurance. Otherwise pickup and return was easy, including their airport shuttle service. Vehicle was a 100k miles Corolla but it had the backup camera and had no issues w/it, and good value for the price. In comparison, I rented a nicer vehicle at Hertz by the airport the prior week, but it took an hour after pickup time before it was actually ready.
Avoid this place at all costs!!!! Worth spending the extra money while you're in hawaii! They are scammers! First, the rental place isn't even in the airport you need to take a shuttle. Second, they take about 30 minutes to give you a car because theres only 1 employee at a time. Third, they give you an old car with over 100k miles and in terrible condition and smells bad. Scam artists giving cheap rental cars with no maintenance to unsuspecting drivers. Brakes don't work? Reply was "we are all going to die one day sir". I don't feel safe driving your car. "We will not bring you another car and you can switch out for another one by coming back to us". The car breaks down? They try and make you pay for everything including the tow job. Do NOT go here. They don’t give you your security deposit back if there’s any SAND…in Hawaii. Scammers. Will charge you days after you return the car. Very aggressive and rude customer service.
No amount of money in the world will make me tolerate your disrespect. I was told by John ima be taking to court for a in house purchase that I can’t afford to pay on and was told the car would be picked up. 9 months later I’m called a cussed out. Okay
