Response To Misdiagnoised but still expects to be paid by deltadawn Misdiagnosed called A TO Z HVAC stating she had no heat. I explained our service call was $80.00, which included ½ hour diagnostics, and that usually we could find the problem within the first ½ hour. When the service tech arrived he found an electrical problem at the junction box leading to the furnace, explained we were not licensed electricians, and suggested she call a licensed electrician to solve the problem. Misdiagnoised but still expects to be paid I had a horrible experience with this company. I called in late December with the problem of having no heat. I drove home from work (in Vancouver to Portland) to meet the repair tech. He was at my home for a total of 15 min, 5 of which were spent with him in his van talking on the phone. He then diagnoised the problem as electrical, informed me that "he couldnt fix the problem but was still going to charge me".
