The owner is a stuck up snob who only cares about himself! No regard for customer or community. Routinely ruins customers packages and throws out their things first chance he gets while treating employees poorly. It is a miracle this business still exists.
Hired them to move us from our one bedroom apartment. We lived on the second floor of the apartment so all of the boxes were listed over the edge of the balcony. There was a VERY limited amount of items that actually had to go down the stairs. There were 2 men, one organizing the truck the other lifting the boxes over the edge. Had my partner not been there to support I do not know how long it would have taken. The damn upstairs kept saying "wow this is the fastest one bedroom move ever"! Much like other reviews, if I could give zero stars, I would. I thought the bad reviews were exaggerated until I experienced this D-rated moving business. Hired for a small estate move. They showed up half an hour late, the second guy, who tried to stay back, absolutley wreaked like alcohol and he dropped and broke a small piece of furniture. Just a bad company overall. Never again.
Unfortunately my realtor suggested this company out of Victoria. Not everyone are millionaires. Ppl selling their homes & relocating? From South Island to the north island?. Ya best have extremely thick wallets ??. I was mortified to learn the cost of a very small amount of belongings to be packed moved & relocated?. Omg a minimum of three dudes @ $169 an hr plus taxes 2 hr commute from Victoria to lakecowichan time & labour. Plus 7 hrs drive up island 2/3 hrs unloading time?.
