I used A Stitch in Time January 2026 and all the ladies who work there were a godsend! I only had about a month to make alterations to my dress before my wedding and Anne was up for the challenge. She was so kind and reassuring that everything would work out and it did. I went weekly for my alterations and the whole team were great communicators and so helpful. I'd recommend A Stitch in Time to every bride.
My wedding dress was tailored by Ann last year. She was very sweet, but I found her process difficult to work with. I had to pay in full at the first appointment, which was fine, but Ann tried to go back on what she told me she could do with my dress a few fittings in. The dress needed a hem, bustle, and the straps taken up slightly. Ann agreed and charged me for these alterations ($850 in full up front). Olivia is amazing - truly no notes. I left snatched, yet elegant. She is so collaborative and is so quick to tune into the bride's vibe and what style she's looking for. I completely change my sleeves and added some flair to my neckline in addition to the typical alterations to make the dress fit my body and I'm so so so happy with the results. Plus I had two other dresses for the reception and pre-wedding event, both equally as amazing. I've told all of my engaged friends to go to A Stitch in Time!
They were absolutely AMAZING! Needed a bustle last minute and they got it done beautifully. Olivia and Sam were the sweetest ever and very accommodating. Their work is seamless and beautiful. Would recommend over and over again!
Olivia is amazing!! I brought in my Danielle Frankel Anika corset top to change the back from hooks to a zipper and let it out just slightly, and she did an amazing job. She’s one of the recommended tailors on Danielle Frankel’s list. I was honestly nervous it wouldn’t fit because of my recent weight gain, but she somehow made it fit perfectly.
