Missed major things on my home inspection that required thousands of dollars of repairs. Specifically, missed that the main stairs were seriously unsafe and not up to code. We bought the house from a distance so were relying on the inspection. When I asked them to refund the inspection in part or in full because of this issue and explained relevant code they told me that the contract states that they cannot guarantee coded inspection.
Charles Ball and the rest of the team with A-Stat was fantastic in every sense. As first time home-buyers, we couldn't have asked to be in better hands. Excellent inspection services over in Wynnewood, PA. Very nice, friendly and thorough. Patient and receptive to questions (especially because we're first home buyers). Bill was our home inspector. Gave us suggestions since he's a handyman since we don't know a lot about buying houses.
