I used A Star for 10 YEARS until August 2024 . They left me for 5 days without A/C in 100 plus temperatures - brought the WRONG parts to fix the problem then charged me AGAIN to return to the warehouse to get the correct parts and ANOTHER charge to come another day to my house. It was extremely stressful dealing with them - no compassion for my situation and no compensation for THEIR ERROR in picking up the wrong parts . I'll NEVER use them again. The end of May, our AC unit for upstairs and downstairs stop working. A repair man came out and fixed it . Then less than two months later, the upstairs unit stop cooling. Another repair man came out. This time the repair man stated what needed to be repaired along with several other repairs that was going to cost an additional $5000. Dishonest, and completely incompetent. They installed a new shower faucet in my master bath. Not cheap, but I thought OK. The next morning we discovered it had leaked so bad it flooded two rooms, soaking the carpet and damaging the molding. Thanks Astar, for making me replace and repaint all that wood work. They offered me annual service on my AC units for a small monthly fee, but refuse to actually do the annual check up. My experience with A-Star was top notch. Very satisfied from start to finish. My technician *******, bent over backwards to make sure the issue I was having was resolved and that I was satisfied 100%. He explained everything with a high degree of knowledge and answered all of my questions. He was very friendly and honest. I will be requesting him for future maintenance.

I am a representative of someone who had such a bad experience with Astar service that I felt compelled to review on his behalf. First he called AStar on June 28th the original installers of the air condition unit.. They came out on the 28th and charged him $100.0 to inspect the unit. The service person said it was the thermostat and charged him $343.00 to give him a unit that was cheaper than what he had in the home and left. Zero Stars I do not recommend this company to anyone. The last contact I had with this company was in April of 2022, when their Tech came out to replace a part on one of the 2 outdoor A/C units (warranty was due to expire in Aug of 2022). The Tech stated to stop using filters and just let the A/C run until the system gave out. He proceeded to quote me $20,000 to install 2 new units.
