He does not operate anymore,I think.He was highly recommended by a friend and so i sought his help.Paid him in full the first time i met him and gave him all d required info.That was Last week of January 2012,keep on calling him for follow ups and giving me positive answers....8 mos later i got a letter from another office telling me that they are d ones handling my divorce case bc John is no longer operating(..there goes my money!!)..Anyway,its been more than a year now and still waiting for positive results..when i checked... read more
i used a simple divorce two years ago , John took care of all my paperwork it was a mess before I went to see him and John got it all sorted out and my divorced was finalized within a year of going to him and thats with my ex living in another state and the all other things going wrong. John did a very good job i would recommend him to anyone
i went to the simple divorce in feb. of 2010. i filled for a uncontested divorce and he quoted me as it taking 6 months. which would put it at being final in sept. of 2010. however the more time that went by the more people that he put infront of my paperwork. so my papers sat there for 9 months. and everytime i call he said the courts have them, that is when i actally got ahold of him because leaving him a message and expecting a call back is like waiting for pigs to fly. in december i finally got tired of his run around so... read more
It has been over a year now and the divorce that I payed for through Jon Steelman at A Simple Divorce has not been finalized. I paid Jon six hundred dollars in February of 2010 to process and assit in my divorce. In march 2010 the papers were filed in the court with a fee of 355.00. Since then, my ex-wife has been served papers and those papers were also filed and recorded in the court system.
