Had some engine trouble with my car last week and took it to A & R Automotive in Essex. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never been there before, but honestly, I’m glad I gave them a shot. They figured out the issue pretty quick (something with the timing belt), and they called me to explain what needed to be done before moving forward. If I could give -5 stars I would. This is a company that gaslights and exploits customers. They will disassemble your car and hold it for ransom claiming that they’re ordering parts from companies that doesn’t even ship it. They will then attempt to charge you to put back parts that they didn’t even need to take off. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS & DO NOT GO HERE. Check your car to ensure your belongings are not stolen.
