I'm a fan of this shop ever since. Been here a 5 times. they are no overcharge, no other fess and all. i think this is the best place i ever had visited with regards to my car's concern. thanks a plus transmission specialist for your help.

Quick, quality & honesty. Looked around and have found outrageous prices and comments from competitors. I've gotten nothing but a honest and fair deal from Daniel, who is extremely knowlegable about his craft. A+ has a life long customer, thanks Daniel !

Take your vehicle to A Plus Transmission at 902 North Shepherd in Houston because you will be treated fairly and your repair advise will be sound. The manager at this location is knowledgeable and will get your car fixed and back on the road. I have always had a positvie experience with this A + location.

I was in need of a transmission repair while in Houston, so looked online for someone who could do a good transmission service. I'm no mechanic, so I had no idea what was wrong with my vehicle. I ended up taking my car to A Plus Transmission Specialists who were very friendly, and didn't treat me like an idiot. Some places do when you have little or no mechanical knowledge yourself. The problem was apparently very simple to fix, and I was in and out within 2 hours. They didn't charge me all that much either.

I travel a lot to Houston for business, so I rely heavily on my vehicle to run efficiently. On my last visit, my transmission was playing up, so I called in to A Plus Transmission Specialist's transmission shop at Dairy Ashford to see if they could squeeze me in. They sympathized with my plight and took a look straight away. It was a very quick transmission repair, just needed some fluid and a couple of adjustments. I was looking for a good transmission shop to check my transmission. As I pulled in to A Plus Transmission Specialist, you could hear the clunking in my transmission. It was terribly embarrassing! The great guys from this company were very helpful and friendly, so that put me at ease a little more. I am definitely not mechanically minded, so when my transmission seemed to be malfunctioning, and needed a transmission repair or transmission service, I called a few different companies. Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't permit me to have to wait for hours, so I needed someone who could fit me in straight away. A Plus Transmission Specialist told me to come straight in so I could take a look. Thankfully only a minor transmission repair was needed and they had me on my way with a minimum of fuss and delay.

Car sent in for service was 2003 manual BMW 330xi. The issue was a whining noise coming from clutch. I had the car serviced at BMW, who advised that the whining was because of a throw-out bearing. BMW wanted $2,500 to resolve the problem. New clutch cost is approx $890 and its about 7-8 hours labor, so I thought I'd find an alternative. I needed a transmisssion and filter change on my truck and was looking for a knowledgeable and reasonably priced shop to do the work. When I came across David Grube's add in the green sheet I had to call due to the price. David assured me the price was correct and I made an appointment to be there after work. I was very pleased with the hospitality and the way the shop runs. Small wait as I was late getting there but still fast and courtious service. David knows his transmissions and then some.
