I can't recommend this firm. Their customer service is a "1" out of 10, and they never, ever return a call that is left on voicemail. I bought a new backpack blower 2 years ago and I now find it didn't have an air cleaner installed in it. My unit now won't run properly, likely needs a new carb due to dirt and dust being sucked into it, and neither they or the factory will stand behind the problem - even though still under warranty.

I took my backpack blower in for repair on Dec 17, 2014. I went in today (March 16, 2015) 3 months later and it still wasn't done. They told me a story of how they have had to wait on parts. I got upset and said 3 months was unreasonable. The owner told his assistant to take all the parts off my blower and give it back to me in pieces. So that's what they did. They are the worst customer service I have ever expericenced.

I buy, sell, and trade. Everything I have ever bought from A Plus Power Equipment has worked "perfectly", and was also the best price in town. I am amazed by the idiots that take the time to whine about something so simple. If these morons had "any ability at all', they could fix their tools themselves in less time than it takes to type their spew, which pretty much proves that they are just more "worthless ticks on Americas hide". Thank you A Plus, you're the best! Sincerely, Don Steele.

What a bunch of monkeys. 7 weeks and $155 for a repair that barely held together for 4 weeks. Google and Sears helped me make the simple repair for less than $20 in an afternoon. Jerry, the bumbling owner refused to even consider and understand how a client service gesture might be appropriate, although he did concede that I had no reason to trust his crew of semi sapient sloths to provide an effective repair. Don't waste your money here.

Try to locate another shop if you can and or call the manufacturer of your particular type of lawn equipment and have them steer you towards a good reputable shop. I purchased a mower from A-Plus and took the mower in for a simple fix for the push handle and when I returned to pick up the mower it was filthy and had to be cleaned up. When I started the mower to use after picking it up it smoked like crazy and spit oil everywhere and then a nut and bolt fell off of it. So I called A-Plus back and they told me to return the mo... read more

I have read over 30 reviews on a plus power equipement and all of them are horrible. How is this guy still in business? I worked for him for a few months and OMG that was the absolute worst job experience I've ever had in the over 20 years of being in the American workforce. He calls customers names to their faces. You cannot argue with the guy because he will simply just walk away in mid discussion if he doesn't agree with what you are saying to him. HE IS BI-POLAR AND UNMEDICATED. I don't even think he realizes that he is ... read more

A Plus Power Equipment – This business should be avoided at all costs! They have no customer service skills and their mechanical skills are extremely limited. Their idea of repair or maintenance work is to replace everything that they can disassemble. A favorite trick is to get you to bring your machine (lawnmower, chainsaw leaf blower, etc.) in for an examination and diagnosis and then hold it hostage until you agree to have them repair it or pay for the diagnosis. Don't sign anything!!! Rude, crude and generally stupid.

How do they stay in business????? – In all my years I have never come across a company like this. The owner is so rude and has no business ethics. We dropped off power equiptment almost two months ago and have called numerous times to check on it and they keep saying it isn't ready. Personally went in to check on unit and they couldn't find it and when they did they were just starting to figure out what was wrong with it. Each time I have been in there people have either been complaing over the phone with them or in person c... read more
